What happened
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone ('Ultra') at a keynote on 10th September. Accessory makers dbrand and Spigen have already published case designs, giving an early look at the physical form factors.
Why it matters
Minimal practical impact for builders. Unless you ship iOS apps or mobile accessories, there is no action to take here. The foldable form factor could eventually matter for responsive design and testing, but no concrete SDK or screen-size details are provided in this text.
Discussion angle
Brief mention only: if the foldable iPhone gains traction, Malaysian iOS developers and e-commerce teams may eventually need to test layouts for a new screen aspect ratio — but nothing to act on today.
