What happened
Ukraine's Sargan 3000 unmanned surface vessel reportedly destroyed a Russian MBeK drone boat using a 12.7mm automatic turret, in what is described as the first-ever drone-vs-drone boat engagement. Video footage of the encounter was circulated. The article text itself is mostly site navigation and membership boilerplate with no additional technical detail.
Why it matters
Little practical takeaway for this audience. The event is militarily notable but the article contains no engineering detail, software stack, autonomy architecture, or cost data that a builder could act on. Skip unless discussing autonomous systems edge cases in defense.
Discussion angle
Whether drone-vs-drone engagements signal a shift toward autonomous counter-drone tooling as a builder opportunity, though the article provides no technical substance to anchor this.
