What happened
Tom's Hardware reviews the Dell Pro 7 Webcam 4K, a compact $199.99 4K/60fps webcam with Windows Hello support, presence detection, good image quality in ideal lighting, and surprisingly strong microphone performance. The review notes it faces heavy competition in its price segment.
Why it matters
For builders and founders doing regular video calls or demos, a $199.99 4K webcam with a decent built-in mic could reduce reliance on separate audio gear, but the review suggests image quality depends on good lighting and there are cheaper or better alternatives worth comparing before buying.
Discussion angle
Whether a $200 4K webcam with built-in mic is worth it over a cheaper 1080p cam plus a dedicated USB mic for remote startup calls and demos.
