What happened
Tom's Hardware reports HP has cut $2,200 off an Omen prebuilt with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080, bringing it to $2,799, a 44% discount. The article text is mostly page chrome and does not list other specs, benchmarks, regional availability, or warranty details.
Why it matters
If you are considering a high-end gaming PC or a local GPU box for dev workloads and can buy from the US, the headline price is notable, but there is no Malaysia pricing, shipping, or support information here, so local builders should compare against local DIY/retailer quotes before treating it as actionable.
Discussion angle
Worth a quick check only if someone is actively buying a high-end GPU rig: compare this $2,799 prebuilt against local Malaysian DIY or retailer pricing and warranty, and note that the article gives no regional availability.
