What happened
Tom's Hardware flagged a rare discount on the WD Black SN770M 2TB, an M.2 2230 NVMe SSD aimed at Steam Deck and ROG Ally storage upgrades, at $0.13 per GB (roughly $260 for the 2TB drive, though the article text itself never states the total price). The piece calls it a return to near-launch pricing, which is the only hard number in the text.
Why it matters
Almost nothing here for this audience: it is a consumer SSD deal post with no AI, agent, database, cloud, or startup angle, and no Malaysian pricing, availability, or retailer is mentioned. The only actionable fact is the $0.13/GB figure, which is useful only if someone on the team is personally upgrading a handheld's 2230-format drive — and the text does not give a total price, a retailer, or an expiry date, so even that is not directly actionable from this item.
Discussion angle
Skip or use as a 30-second filler: ask whether anyone in the group has actually bought overseas hardware deals versus local Malaysian pricing, since this item gives a per-GB figure but no local availability.
