What happened
MSI Malaysia launched the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, which it calls the world’s first Nvidia RTX Spark-powered 2-in-1 laptop, with pre-orders open since October 8, 2026. The announced details are limited to 64GB and 128GB configurations and dual biometric security via fingerprint and IR camera; it was shown at a media event at Jaya One in Petaling Jaya on October 22, 2026. The text gives no price, specific GPU model, battery life, thermals, or benchmarks.
Why it matters
If you are considering this for local AI work or development, the announcement only gives RAM tiers and the “RTX Spark” label—no price, GPU spec, or performance numbers. Ask for those before pre-ordering, because 64GB/128GB of RAM alone does not tell you whether it can run the models or workloads you care about.
Discussion angle
What minimum details—price, exact GPU, benchmarks, thermals, battery—would you need before treating a “RTX Spark” 2-in-1 as a practical local AI development machine?
