Former AWS executive to expand Databricks' partner ecosystem across APJ Appointment comes as organisations increase investment in agentic AI and enterprise AI adoption Databricks, the data and AI company, has appointed Corrie Briscoe (pic) as vice president, Partnerships and Alliances, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ). Based in Singapore, she will lead the expansion of Databricks' partner ecosystem across the region, working with cloud providers, systems integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs) and technology partners to help organisations scale data and AI applications, analytics and agentic AI solutions. Briscoe brings 30 years of experience building and scaling partner ecosystems across Asia Pacific. She joins Databricks from Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she led the APJ Partner Core organisation, overseeing partner programmes, strategic investments and go-to-market initiatives. Prior to AWS, she held leadership roles at Microsoft and Cisco, leading regional partner strategy and ecosystem development. The appointment comes as organisations across APJ increase investment in agentic AI, creating demand for partners that can help deploy AI securely, manage complex data environments and address shortages in AI-ready talent. Supporting this strategy, Databricks recently introduced the Brickbuilder Partner Network (BPN), a global programme designed to help partners accelerate customer adoption of data and AI solutions. Databricks works with more than 8,000 partners globally, including over 1,000 across APJ, to help customers build, deploy and scale data and AI applications.
